"Ex-cavação I" presents a series of works that deal with the idea of discourse, word function and word/games.
The show emphasizes a conceptual play around the planning nature of my work process.
The title "Ex-cavation" implies a word-game only meaningful in Portuguese: Excavation ( in Portuguese, written Escavação ) in opposition to Ex-Cavação (from the word Cavaçao, meaning: act of digging; unaccepted or a non-legit gesture, action).
The process is driven by a research mood looking into the idea of speech formation, rhetoric and language.
