The Absurd wants us back or the Melancholic as double

The absurd wants us back or the melancholic as double focuses on the ideas of things yet to be, things in lack that impels one to action and discovery. The video Serôdio [Late Bloomer] and the series of drawings emphasize representations of melancholia, late bloomers and word-games (which solutions are hardly figured-out at once). The aim of this exhibition was to ponder the value of absurdity and fear towards the unknown.

The exhibition creates a journey between different sections: “against realism”, “the same problems”, “double nature of mutation”, “almost alive” and “late bloomer”. The melancholia for the “yet-to-come”, that either freezes or stimulates in relation to the absurd fear towards the unknown are at the core of this investigation.
